The events “Maggio delle Scienze Politico Sociali” aim to provide breadth and depth in understanding social and political phenomena. The distinctive character of the Sant’Anna School new area of research and teaching for Human, Social and Political Sciences is the high value the Faculty place on multi-disciplinary collaboration. Connections with other departments and research centers in all fields of politics, including international relations, political philosophy, human rights and public policy-making will offer a range of opportunities for graduate and post-graduate study.

The new area will act as the bridge between Sant’Anna School's world-class research and the policy-making community in Tuscany (in cooperation with faculty in Scuola Normale Superiore and Istituto Universitario Europeo – Florence) and nationally. Spring seminars (until May 25) will feature distinguished speakers that focus on the political, social and environmental dimensions of the complex challenges faced in Tuscany region and hold high profile events for students from a variety of backgrounds and with many interests.
